Every year we send  samples  of our early harvest EVOO to

the World Olive Centre for Health in Athens, Greece for Polyphenol

analysis.

The Total Polyphenol  concentration in the EVOO is divided into three

categories, Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

​

Bronze implies a Total Polyphenol level between 250 mg/Litre and

499 mg/Litre

Silver is between 500 mg/Litre and 999 mg/Litre

and Gold 1,000  mg/Litre and >.

​

This year Puketi Olive Farm was awarded a Bronze medal with

a Total Polyphenol level of 328 mg/Kg ( 356 mg /Litre ).

​

Hopefully next year with less rain in March we can once again achieve

Gold ( 2021 ) or Silver ( 2023/24')
